What is it?
By now, you surely know what an elevator speech is. It’s your story told succinctly and with passion in the time it takes to ascend or descend a few floors in that literal or figurative elevator. A case statement is your organization’s elevator speech in print. It will define clearly who you are, what you do, what you need and how someone might be able to help.
Why it's critical.
A good case statement will be used not only to spread your message, but to clarify for your entire organization the following important points.
• What is your mission?
• What is your vision?
• What are your achievements?
• What are your goals?
• What is your compelling story?
• How can people help?

How to use it.
Once you’ve developed your case statement and everyone is on the same page speaking in the same language, everyone can become an ambassador for your school or non-profit organization, finding opportunities to talk about these points at every opportunity (at your kid’s soccer game, in line at the bank, in that proverbial elevator). When formulated correctly, the case statement brings people together to feel excited and accountable for what the future holds.
The case statement has many functions and alinea, LLC will show you how to effectively create and use one for your organization.
